The goal of the Safety Conference was to improve our partners knowledge, competency level, and collaborative skills to improve campus safety. The Safety Conference accomplished it by attracting subject matter experts in their field to address current topics and practical solutions.
It was an opportunity to obtain or learn new skillsets, learn best practices from leading subject matter experts, hear lessons learned from real-world disasters, and improve collaboration through information sharing with other univeristy, colleges and K-12 administrators, and public safety professionals.
