Clery Act Training for Campus Security Authorities (CSAs)

It is the policy of the University of California to comply with its obligations under the Clery Act and California Law. This online course is intended to aid in the training of Campus Security Authorities (CSAs) so they can perform their duties under the UC Clery Act Policy and other UC safety, crime prevention and reporting policies which will help fulfill UC Merced's commitment maintain a safe campus for the community. 

Topics include:

  • Clery Act (Identify and adhere to Clery Act requirements)
  • Responsibilities (Recognize and fulfill your responsibility as a CSA)
  • Reporting (Properly engage with reporting parties and report all Clery Crimes)
  • Resources (Access additional information)

Audience: Identified UCM CSAs

Schedule: Within 90 days of hire or being identified as a CSA and every 2 years after
